Privacy Policy

Effective August 5, 2026

The short version.

We collect what we need to answer you and do the work, and nothing else. We do not sell your information. If you opt in to text messages, your mobile number and your consent stay with us and the carrier that delivers the message, and go to no one else. Reply STOP any time and the messages end.

1. Who This Covers

This policy describes how MyITology LLC ("the Company," "we," "us") handles information collected through www.myitology.com and through the phone, email, and text conversations that follow from it.

Client data inside the systems we manage is a separate matter. That is governed by the signed service agreement, statement of work, or master services agreement for the engagement, and by any confidentiality terms in it. This page is about the information the website and our direct communications collect.

2. Information You Give Us

When you submit the assessment request form, you provide your name, company name, email address, phone number, industry, approximate number of computers, and whatever you write in the message field. You also choose whether to check the box consenting to text messages.

If you use the website assistant, the questions you type and any contact details you share in that conversation are collected the same way a form submission is.

If you call or email us, we keep the contact details and the substance of the request so we can follow up.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Every form submission is stamped with technical details used to separate real inquiries from automated spam: the IP address the submission came from, the approximate city and region that IP resolves to, the time zone your browser reports, and how long the page was open before you hit submit.

We use privacy-focused website analytics that count page views and referring sites in aggregate. It does not build advertising profiles, follow you across other websites, or sell your browsing behavior.

We do not use advertising or retargeting trackers on this website.

4. How We Use It

To answer your inquiry, schedule an assessment, prepare a quote, and deliver the services you engage us for.

To send you service and account communications: appointment confirmations, ticket and maintenance updates, security notices, and invoices.

To detect and block spam, fraud, and abuse of the website and its forms.

To meet legal, tax, and insurance obligations, and to enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.

5. Text Messaging (SMS)

We send text messages only to people who have opted in, either by checking the consent box on our website form, by asking us in writing, or by telling a member of our team directly. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of buying anything from us.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

The only parties that ever see your mobile number in connection with our messaging are the telecommunications providers that carry the message to your handset, and they see it solely to deliver it.

Messages relate to your service request, appointments, tickets, maintenance windows, outage and security notices, and billing. Message frequency varies by what is happening on your account. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (713) 769-5445. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Who We Share Information With

Service providers who help us run the business and only for that purpose: website and form hosting, email, our messaging provider, scheduling and ticketing tools, and payment processing. They are permitted to use the information only to perform that work for us.

Professional advisors (accounting, legal, insurance) where reasonably needed, and law enforcement or regulators where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to investigate fraud or abuse.

A successor entity if the business is sold or merged, under the same commitments described here.

That list is the whole list. We do not trade, rent, or sell your information, and none of these categories include your text messaging opt-in data or consent.

7. How Long We Keep It

Inquiries that do not turn into work are kept up to 24 months so we can pick up the thread if you come back, then removed.

Client records are kept for the life of the engagement and afterward as long as tax, contract, and insurance obligations require.

Opt-out records are kept indefinitely. That is deliberate: it is the only way to guarantee we never message you again after you say stop.

8. Security

The website is served over encrypted connections, and form submissions travel encrypted. Access to inquiry and client information is limited to people who need it to do the work.

Security is our trade, so we will be honest about its limits: no system, ours included, can be promised as immune to every attack. We apply the same controls to our own environment that we recommend to clients.

9. Your Choices and Your Rights

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act to confirm whether we process their personal data, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising or profiling in the first place.

To make a request, call (713) 769-5445 or use the contact form on this site. We will verify the request and respond within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need the one extension the law allows. If we decline a request, you may appeal by contacting us the same way, and you may raise the matter with the Texas Attorney General.

To stop text messages, reply STOP. To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link. Service and billing messages tied to an active engagement continue either way.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. The website works fine with them blocked.

10. Children

This website and these services are directed to businesses and organizations, not to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, call us and we will remove it.

11. Other Websites

Links to vendor documentation, partner sites, or client sites are provided for convenience. Once you leave this site, the other operator’s privacy practices govern, not ours.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this page as the business or the law changes. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes to how we handle text messaging or share information will be posted here before they take effect.
